Cuckfield Bathrooms Terms & Conditions

These conditions, laid out below, apply to all products and services supplied by Cuckfield Bathrooms to The Buyer. Please read through carefully as these terms are standard and non-negotiable. No conditions or warranty inconsistent with these conditions shall apply unless in writing and signed by a Director of Cuckfield Bathrooms. These conditions shall prevail in the event of a difference with the terms and coniditions of any order or other documents submitted by a customer.

1. Who We Are

1.1 We (Cuckfield Bathrooms ltd) are a limited company registered in England & Wales with the company registration number 09829770. 2. Quotations

2.1 Our quotations are valid for a period of 14 days from the document date. After this any price increases from suppliers will be applied

2.2 No binding contract is formed between us until you have accepted the quotation in writing and payment is received

2.3 Quotes provided by Cuckfield Bathrooms do not include any form of installation or decorating unless specified as such

3. Bathroom Design

3.1 Our bathroom design service is free of charge but are solely for layout and visual purposes only. We accept no responsibility for anything not fitting or working within the room. All products and measurements are to be double checked by the installer on site prior to goods being ordered by the customer

4. Payment

4.1A Minimum of 50% deposit payment will be taken before any goods can be ordered

4.2 The balance payment for any orders will be required before delivery is made. We shall not be obliged to make delivery until full payment for the order is complete

4.2 We accept payment by BACS, Visa, Visa Debit and Mastercard. We do not accept American Express

5. Delivery

5.1 We will not be obliged to make delivery the customer has made payment in full and it has been received

5.2 Delivery dates mentioned by us are approximate only and not of any contractual effect. We will do everything we can to deliver to the buyer within the mentioned timeframe but take no responsibility for delays due to outside circumstances out of our control

5.3 The delivery charges entitles the customer to 1 delivery of goods unless items are delayed on our part. If the customer wants multiple deliveries this will be charged accordingly

5.4 Delivery is one driver and kerbside only at the given address.

5.5 The customer is responsible for ensuring there is enough personnel on site to accept the size / amount of goods being delivered. If you are unsure please contact your sales person.

5.6 If there is no-one at the delivery address or not enough personnel to accept on an agreed date they will be charged again for a re-delivery on a following day

5.7 The customer agrees to take delivery within two months of the order being paid for. If the customer does not accept delivery of the goods within this period they will be charged storage in our warehouse of £7.50 ex vet per pallet per week.

5.8 The customer is to be responsible for ensuring the goods are checked for any damages on the same day as delivery. Any claims after this will not be accepted and replacements will be charged.

6. Returns

6.1 Bespoke and special items (generally items with longer lead times) cannot be cancelled once paid for and therefore ordered unless there is a manufacturing fault with the product once received. The salesperson will advise you of this when ordering.

6.2 The return of goods will be down to the individual manufacturer/brand of the product. All goods must be in unopened and re-sellable original packaging. All suppliers will, if allowing a return, apply restocking fee's which are usually between 20-40% of the product value.

6.3 If the goods have been paid for and ordered into our warehouse and then the customer decides to return an item this will also be at the suppliers discretion with appropriate restocking fee's charged.

6.4 The customer is responsible for the transport of the returning goods back to our showroom or warehouse.

6.5 No credit will be given until the manufacturer/brand has inspected the product and we ourselves have received the credit.

6.6 Credits can stay on the customers account to use against future orders or paid back into their bank account. This process usually takes 7-14 days from receiving our suppliers credit note.

6.7 Tiles are non-returnable. It is the customers responsibility to check with the tiler or relevant person on site they have a sufficient amount.

7 Guarantees & Warranties

7.1 All bathroom products are guaranteed by each individual manufacturer. The parts and years will vary so please contact us if you would like more information on the products quoted / ordered.
